Level 3 American Rumba Dance Classes FOR INTERMEDIATE DANCERS 6PM on September 7, 14, 21 & 28th (Each class is 50 minutes long) Discover the passion and rhythm of the American Rumba, a dance that has captured hearts since it first emerged in the 1930s! Known for its sensual movements and close partner connection, American Rumba is the ballroom adaptation of the Cuban Rumba and has become a staple in Latin dance for its versatility and expressive nature. In this course, we will dive deep into Lead and Follow techniques, intricate footwork, and musicality that will elevate your Rumba and Latin dance skills. You'll gain the confidence and flair to shine on any dance floor! Join Christifer as he guides students through advanced patterns, enhanced techniques, and the nuanced expression that makes American Rumba both captivating and unforgettable. Dance Class Schedule: These dance classes run on the last 4 Saturdays of each month, providing you with consistent opportunities to improve your dance skills. Level of Dance Classes: These dance classes will be designed for dancers at the intermediate level, or Level 3. This course is perfect for those who have a solid foundation in Rumba or other Latin styles and are ready to challenge themselves with more complex techniques and patterns. Beginners should consider trying out Level 1 for ease of learning, or Level 2 for a challenge. Location: All dance classes are held at the beautiful Ballroom & Country Dance Studio located at 121C 17th Ave NE, Calgary, AB. Variety of Styles: Each month, we explore a different dance style, ranging from ballroom, Latin, country, and swing. This variety ensures you'll never get bored and always have something new to master.
